D.C. police have released new information to the public as they continue to investigate a Dec. 29 sex assault in Northwest.
Police say officers responding to the 400 block of Farragut St. NW. about 8:30 p.m. found the victim, who said a man entered her car through the passenger side door, forced her to drive to the 500 block of Webster St. NW, and sexually assaulted her while her 15-month-old son was in the back seat.
Authorities described the man as a black male with a Southern accent who wore dark clothing and had a mustache and medium complexion. Police released a composite sketch of the suspect.
