D.C. police release video of suspect in August robbery

D.C. police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man they say assaulted and robbed another man in Northwest in mid-August.

Police released surveillance video of the suspect, who was described as a black male with medium complexion between 18 and 25 years old, standing between 5 ft. 9 in. and 6 ft. tall, with brown eyes and black hair.

The suspect wore a black cap with red insignia, white shirt and blue jeans during the incident, police said. The video does not show the incident.

The robbery took place at about 1:40 a.m. Aug. 16, in the 3800 block of Georgia Ave. NW, according to police .
