The first robbery occurred about 4:50 a.m. on Oct. 20 in the 500 block of T St., NW. Police said three men, two armed, accosted four victims and took their property.

The second attack occurred Oct. 21 in the 2100 block of 2nd St. NW. Police said three men, one armed with gun, again robbed four victims, made them lie down on the street and took their property.

Police did not identify what was taken. Police did say the men escaped in a 2006-2008 Nissan Altima or Maxima with tinted windows and a D.C. license plate that begins with the letter “D.”

Both attacks occurred within a few blocks of Howard University; police did not say whether the victims were students.
