D.C. police search for sexual assault suspect

D.C. police are looking for a suspect in the sexual assault of a woman in Southeast Washington late Wednesday night.

The attack took place shortly before midnight in the 1600 block of 21st Place SE.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video, and police have released a photo, hoping that the public can help identify him.

According to police, the suspect is a black man in his late teens to mid-20s: “He was last seen wearing a royal blue athletic jacket with a hood and multiple white stripes running from the shoulder to the sleeve, and a pair of multi-colored long pajama pants. He had a pair of white tennis shoes with the top part of the shoes being black, and a black baseball cap with New York Yankees logo.”
