D.C. police seek two men in carryout robbery

D.C. police are looking for two men in their 30s who are suspected of robbing a pizza store in November in Northwest Washington.

The robbery occurred Nov. 27 about 2:45 at ZZ Pizza and Kabob in the 1500 block of North Capitol St. NW. Police said one of the men was armed with a dark gray handgun.

Video surveillance, released by police shows the men entering and exiting the store.

The gunman is described as at least 35 years old standing 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a heavy build, medium complexion and full beard. He was wearing a black skullcap, gray jacket and blue jeans.

The second man was between 30 and 35 years old standing 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a light complexion and full beard. He was wearing a black skull cap, black jacket with hood and light blue jeans.

Police are offering a reward up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information is urged to call D.C. police at 202-727-9099 or text the department’s tip line at 50411.
