D.C. police seek two men in street robbery

District police are searching for two men who robbed a person last month in Northwest Washington, forcing the victim to the ground and stealing money.

Authorities said the attack occurred a few minutes before 1 a.m. in the 1300 block of V Street, NW., a block north of the U Street corridor and the U Street Metro station.

D.C. police said two men approached the victim and one forced him to the ground. They were last seen in that block.

Police released a scant description and a video that shows two men, one in a blue and white jacket, the other in a black jacket, but their faces are not visible.

Anyone with information is urged to call police at 202-727-9099 or sent a text to the department’s tip line at 50411.
