District man charged in Md. cabbie’s murder

A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged with the murder of a cab driver in Northeast Washington, police said Sunday.

Rashad Terrell Slye of Southeast was arrested Sunday and charged with the first-degree murder of Lanham resident Domingo Ezirike.

Police found Ezirike, 40, just before 4 a.m. Saturday on the 4300 block of Ponds Street NE, near the entrance to the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. He had been fatally shot and was found in the Prince George’s County taxi he drove.
