DNA testing for items found at scene of unsolved killing

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Items found at the scene of an unsolved 1974 Maryland killing are now undergoing DNA testing, according to police.

Phyllis Bohle was 23 when her body was found at her house in Severn on March 25, 1974. Bohle was found beaten and stabbed to death.

Cold case Detective John Gajda says Bohle’s friends and relatives were questioned at the time, but her killing went unsolved.

The Capital newspaper of Annapolis reports that her father, 83-year-old Bud Gray of Timonium, is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of her killer. Metro Crime Stoppers is offering another $2,000.
