Double-shooting victims seriously injured in Hyattsville

Two people were injured in a double shooting overnight in Hyattsville, authorities said.

According to police, the shooting happened in the 2200 block of Sheridan Street shortly after 12 a.m. Wednesday.

Both victims, whose identities have not been released, are expected to survive, police said. The nature and severity of their injuries have not been released.

Police said no suspect information is available.
