Fairfax woman in fatal two-vehicle crash charged

A Fairfax woman involved in a fatal two-vehicle crash in Fairfax County in June has been charged with failing to yield right of way, police said.

Tiffany Segreti, 27, drove a Chevrolet Impala on Mattie Moore Court and attempted to make a left turn onto Shirley Gate Road around 5:50 p.m. on June 28, police said.

She collided with a GMC Sierra pickup truck, which was pushed off the roadway and hit a street light.

Charles R. Blevins, 64, the driver of the truck, was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

Blevins, of Clifton, died later, police said. Segreti was not injured in the collision.

Neither speed nor alcohol appeared to be contributing factors to the crash, police said.
