Fall trial set in yoga store killing

A trial date has been set in the high-profile case of Brittany Norwood, who is accused of fatally beating and stabbing her coworker inside a Bethesda yoga shop. The trial is slated to start Oct. 24, and could last for eight days, according to online court records and the Montgomery County State’s Attorneys office.

A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Sept. 2, according to court records. Police say Norwood killed Jayna Murray on March 11 inside the Lululemon Athletica store after it had closed.
