Frederick County family looking for two good samaritans

A Frederick County family is looking for two good samaritans, who, they say, saved their mother’s life.

On Dec. 19, 2011, Maryland State Police troopers were dispatched to the area of US 15 at Interstate 70 in Frederick County for a medical emergency. Upon their arrival, they found a man and a woman performing CPR on Arletta Gilbert who had stopped breathing and was unconscious.

The two individuals, identified only as a man and woman from the Point of Rocks area in Frederick County, assisted the woman until emergency crews arrived. She was resuscitated and transported to a local hospital.

Gilbert’s family members are anxious to thank these two individuals for the crucial role they played in saving her life.

If you are or know these two good samaritans, please contact First Sergeant David Kitzinger at 301-600-4164.
