An Ocean City man who is a registered sex offender has pleaded guilty to possession child pornography.
Forty-one-year-old Lawrence King III entered the plea Wednesday in federal court in Baltimore. He will be sentenced on June 9.
According to his plea agreement, King was convicted of sexual abuse of a child in 2002. He received a suspended sentence and was put on Maryland’s Sex Offender Registry. Last year, prosecutors say law enforcers received a complaint about King and child pornography.
A search of King’s computer in October recovered more than 600 videos and images of child pornography.
