Guilty pleas for 2 in D.C. teen’s January killing

A District man and a Maryland teenager pleaded guilty Monday to voluntary manslaughter and weapons charges in connection with another teen’s January killing.

Kevin Clark, 23, and Donald Crosland, 17, of Suitland, face up to 30 years in prison in the Jan. 7 shooting death of Ricardo Minger, 17, of the District.

Prosecutors said Clark and Crosland entered an apartment in the 5300 block of E Street SE where they met Minger and shot him multiple times. Prosecutors did not release further details about the shooting.

Clark and Crosland are scheduled to be sentenced by D.C. Superior Court Judge Thomas J. Motley on Dec. 7.
