James Cain, 53, found stabbed dead in D.C. Monday

A 53-year-old man was found fatally stabbed Monday night behind a building in Northeast Washington, police said.

James E. Cain, who lived in Northeast, was found bleeding from a stab wound about 8:47 p.m.

Police said he was pronounced dead at a hospital. The incident is under investigation by homicide detectives.
