A woman who was jogging on an Alexandria bike path Wednesday morning was grabbed by a man, but was able to break free and run away, police said.
It happened at 6 a.m. on the bike path near Holmes Run Parkway. The victim, 38, screamed and pulled away when she felt a man grab her from behind, according to Alexandria police. She was not injured.
The suspect was last seen walking on the path toward Van Dorn Street. Police did not release a detailed description of him.
