Landover man charged with killing neighbor

A 60-year-old man was arrested Sunday in the killing of his neighbor in Landover, police said.

Jonathan Kelly, of the 7600 block of Oxman Road, was charged in the fatal stabbing of David Smith, 46, who was a tenant in the same building, Prince George’s County police said. The two men were involved in a fight early Sunday when it turned deadly, police said.

Police responded at 2:40 a.m., and Smith was pronounced dead at the scene. Kelly was charged with second degree murder, police said.
