Man and teen charged with robbing cab drivers in D.C.

A man and a teenager have been arrested and charged with robbing cab drivers in the District, police said.

Henry Delonta Williams, 25, of Southeast Washington, and a 15-year-old from Capitol Heights whose name was not released, were arrested Saturday in connection with three robberies that occurred in November, police said.

According to authorities, there have been a total of 11 robberies and carjackings of cab drivers in D.C. this month. Police said that the cab drivers were robbed by people who hailed the cabs in the vicinity of Metro station. Police are continuing to investigate the remaining open cases.
