A District man was arrested Sunday in connection with a fatal shooting two days earlier, D.C. police reported.
Terrell Rashad Brent of Northeast D.C. has been charged in the death of 20-year-old Lugus Fleming, also of Northeast.
Fleming was killed Friday at about 11 p.m. in the 5400 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue NE.
Medics took Fleming to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Police did not say whether the two men knew each other prior to the shooting.
Rashad is charged with second-degree murder while armed.
