Man dies in Arlington apartment fire

An Arlington County man is dead after a fire broke out in his apartment Thursday night in the 1200 block of North Nash Street, county police said.

Frederick Cole, 77, the sole occupant of the apartment, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The case of the fire is not thought to be arson, authorities said.
