One man was killed and another was shot in separate Saturday morning incidents in the District, police said.
Carlows Michael Eady of Northeast Washington, 25, was found shot in the 5300 block of Dix Street NE just before 12:30 a.m. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, said Officer Hugh Carew, a police spokesman.

Another adult male was shot between 2 and 2:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of Columbia Road NW.
He was found conscious and breathing and was taken to a hospital, said Carew.
