A man who was shot Wednesday evening in Northeast D.C. has died of his injuries, District police said.
The victim was critically injured in a shooting that took place about 5:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of Saratoga Avenue NE.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died from his wounds.
Police have not released a motive or named a suspect in the slaying, which remains under investigation.
