A 44-year-old man died from stab wounds he sustained during an altercation inside a West Virginia Avenue home Tuesday afternoon, D.C. police said.
Officers were called to the 1300 block of West Virginia Avenue just before 3 p.m., said Officer Paul Metcalf, a spokesman. The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.
Police did not immediately identify the man.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate. No further details were immediately available.
