A Saturday morning crash killed a man standing at a bus stop in Montgomery County.

A car heading east on Veirs Mill Road around 4:57 a.m. ran onto the sidewalk near Centerhill Street, according to police, killing Rolando Grande Martinez, 59, of Silver Spring, before hitting a parked truck and then a tree.

The car’s driver, a 24-year-old Rockville man, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
