Man killed in Montgomery County’s Briggs Chaney area

A man was killed Monday night about 10 p.m. in eastern Montgomery County near the intersection of Briggs Chaney Rd. and Columbia Pike.

Officers responded to shots fired near 13920 Castle Boulevard and arrived to find a man dead on a paved path, police said.

The identity of the victim and details of the investigation have yet to be released.
