Man robs Clarendon bank

A man in a purple striped hoodie, baseball cap and sunglasses robbed a Clarendon bank Thursday morning, Arlington police said.

He walked into a PNC branch in the 2600 block of Clarendon Boulevard at about 9:50, implied that he had a weapon and demanded money. After getting some cash, he left.

He is described as a white Middle Eastern man in his early 20’s, about five-foot-eight inches tall with a medium build. Police distributed surveillance photos of the suspect.

Police ask anyone with information about this robbery to call Arlington County police at 703 228-4242, or Detective John Donaggio at 703- 228-4167.
