A man robbed an Old Town bank Sunday by handing a teller a note implying he had a weapon, according to Alexandria police.
At about 3:45 p.m., the man walked into TD Bank, in the 100 block of South Washington Street, and handed the teller the note, police said.
The teller handed over the money, and the man left, police said.
Police ask anyone who recognized the suspect or has information about the robbery to call detective William Oakley, 703-746-6606.
