Prince George’s County police were investigating an early morning homicide Monday, the county’s third since Friday.
Police received a call about 3 a.m. for a “man down” in the 3300 block of Walters Lane, said Cpl. Clinton Copeland, a spokesman for the police department. When investigators arrived they found Brandon Rashad Catlett, 21, of Forestville dead from an apparent gunshot wound, police said.
Police did not immediately know the motive or have a suspect in custody but are asking the public’s help. Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide unit at (301) 772-4925 or Crime Solvers at (866) 411-TIPS.
