A man found lying in the street in Landover Wednesday has died from gunshot wounds, and police are investigating the case as a homicide, authorities said.
Police identified the man as Jerry Junior Neal, 58, of the 7700-block of Penbrook Place in Palmer Park. He was found just after 5 a.m. Wednesday in the 7600 block of Old Landover Road and died at a hospital Wednesday night, authorities said. Prince George’s County police spokesmen said he had been shot.
Homicide detectives are still searching for suspects and a motive in the case. Police spokespeople declined to identify the man.
