Man stabbed by robber in Takoma Park

A man was stabbed in Takoma park Tuesday in a struggle with someone who tried to rob him, authorities said.

The robber approached the victim in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue about 4:30 p.m. and demanded his property.

A struggle began and the robber drew a knife and attacked the victim, police said.

They said the robber then fled into Prince George’s County. Officers from both Takoma Park and Prince George’s searched unsuccessfully for the robber.

Takoma Park police described the suspect as black , in his 0's, about y 5'11" with a thin athletic build, dark complexion, and short rk hair. They said he had facial subble and wore blue jeans and black shoes.
