A man was stabbed and critically wounded late Friday on North Capitol Street, authorities said.
Police said the man appeared unconscious when he was found shortly before 10 p.m. in the 1200 block of the street, which is about a mile north of the Capitol.
It was not immediately clear who stabbed him or why.
