Md. officer hurt after gun fired at roll call meeting

BALTIMORE — A Baltimore police officer sustained minor injuries at police headquarters when a gun the officer was handling during an evening roll call meeting fired.

Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi says emergency responders were called to the downtown headquarters Sunday shortly after 6 p.m.

The Baltimore Sun reports the incident is under investigation. No additional information was immediately available.
