Two people were injured early Tuesday when a Metro bus and a fire truck collided in Southeast D.C., according to police.
The crash occurred about 1:09 a.m. at the intersection of Wheeler Road and Valley Avenue. The fire engine was reportedly responding to a call at that location.
A firefighter and one of the passengers on the bus were injured, police reported.
No other information about their conditions or the cause of the crash was available.
