Minivan driver killed in I-95 crash

A driver was killed on Interstate 95 in Fairfax County Tuesday morning, the Virginia State Police said.

The minivan ran into the back of a three-axle truck on southbound I-95 near Route 286 around 6:45 a.m., police said. The driver of the minivan died at the scene.

The driver’s name was not released, pending notification of next of kin. Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
