‘Most Wanted’ list for man sought in Va. killings

RICHMOND, Va. — A man charged with killing two co-workers at a post Virginia resort is now on the U.S. Marshals’ 15 Most Wanted fugitive list.

The agency announced Thursday that it’s added 61-year-old Beacher Ferrel Hackney to the list.

Hackney is wanted in Hot Springs on capital murder and firearms charges in connection with the fatal shootings of two supervisors, 60-year-old Ronnie Stinnett and 39-year-old Dwight Kerr. Stinnett and Kerr were shot in the kitchen area of The Homestead on March 21, 2009.

The last glimpses of Hackney are from the resort’s surveillance cameras, showing him walking out the door loading another clip into his semiautomatic pistol.
