A District man was arrested Thursday and charged with murder in a 2010 shooting that resulted in two deaths, D.C. police said.
The violence occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on Sept. 29 when someone opened fire in the 3500 block of 22nd Street SE, police said. One man died at the scene and the other died in a hospital hours later.
The suspect, Frankie A. Armstrong, 23, of Southeast Washington, was arrested by a fugitive task force, police said. He was charged with second-degree murder while armed.
