BALTIMORE — A man has been convicted of fatally stabbing a Johns Hopkins researcher during a robbery last year.
John Alexander Wagner was convicted of first degree felony murder about 7 p.m. Wednesday after the jury had deliberated less than three hours.
The Baltimore Sun reports that Wagner faces life in prison; a sentencing date has not been set.
Stephen Pitcairn was robbed and stabbed last summer while talking on a cell phone with his mother. He had been walking home from Penn Station.
