A pedestrian died in a Sunday night crash in Hanover, police said.
Anne Arundel County authorities arrived at the scene of a crash at Dorsey Road near Ridge Road just before 8 p.m. Sunday. They found a man lying in the right lane of eastbound Dorsey Road.
The man, a pedestrian, was taken to a hospital, where he died. Police have not yet released his name.
According to police, the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk when he was hit by a sedan driven by a Harmans man. The driver, who was unhurt, remained at the scene.
