Police arrest three teens after an assault in Brooklyn Park

Police say they arrested three teenagers and are looking for several others after a Monday afternoon incident in Brooklyn Park.

According to Anne Arundel police, a man was approached by eight to 10 males as he smoked a cigarette behind the Seasons Pizza restaurant in the 5500 block of Richie Highway.

The man was punched, kicked and hit with a “wooden object” before he was robbed and the group fled, police said.

Police said they arrested three people — two juveniles and a 16-year-old from Baltimore. The 16-year-old, Shaquille D. Johnson, was charged as an adult with robbery, assault and other offenses. The juveniles were charged with robbery and assault. The rest could not be immediately found.
