Police ID body found in Md. creek

Police have identified the man whose body was found in a Hyattsville-area creek Wednesday as 20-year-old Robert Leroy Scott III, authorities said.

Scott, of Hyattsville, was discovered dead by a passing bicyclist about 3:50 p.m. Wednesday in a creek off in Queens Chapel Road, authorities said Thursday.

His body had no obvious signs of trauma. He was taken to the medical examiner’s office to determine how he died.
