Police ID man shot after T.G.I. Friday’s dispute

Police have identified the man shot and killed early Friday morning after a dispute inside a Bowie restaurant spilled into the parking lot as 19-year-old Alfred Ahmed Kamara, authorities said Tuesday.

Kamara, of Lanham, was one of two people shot in the incident, which began with an argument inside the T.G.I. Friday’s restaurant on Major Lansdale Boulevard. Police have said that argument continued into the parking lot, where someone shot Kamara and another man he was with.

The other man’s injuries were not life threatening, police have said. Cpl. Larry Johnson, a Prince George's County police spokesman, said Tuesday that homicide detectives are still searching for suspects in the case.
