Police ID pedestrian killed Saturday in Montgomery

Police identified the pedestrian killed Saturday on Veirs Mill Road as a 39-year-old originally from Guatemala.

Luis Martinez’s address was unknown, Montgomery County police said Wednesday.

He was found in the area of Veirs Mill and Gridley Roads around 10:23 p.m., police said.

Martinez was hit by two cars, according to police: a Chevrolet Monte Carlo and then a dark-colored SUV.

They continue to seek the driver of the SUV, and ask anyone with information to call (301) 840-2435.
