Anne Arundel County Police have identified a man who died in a pickup truck crash in Harwood in June.
Kirk Edward Middledorf, 43, of Edgewater, was killed when his Ford F-150 drifted off Solomons Island Road around 12:45 a.m. on June 3, police said.
The pickup crossed a median near Harwood Road, continued into a school parking lot and eventually struck a fence and a tree, according to police.
Officers intially had difficulty identifying Middledorf because of the extent of his injuries. Police listed speed, driver error and a possible medical condition as factors that may have contributed to the severity of the crash.
