Police identify Saturday stabbing victim as D.C. teen

The victim of a fatal stabbing Saturday night has been identified by D.C. police as a 17-year-old male from Southeast Washington.

Jamar M. Freeman was found bleeding in the 900 block of Quincy Street NW shortly before 7:30 p.m. and later pronounced dead at a hospital, police said.

The killing is under investigation by homicide detectives. Police asked anyone with information about the case to call them at 202-727-9099 or 888-919-2746.
