Laurel High School was placed on lockdown Thursday morning as police investigated a possible gun threat, officials said.
Prince George’s County police said that a female student reported that another girl “threatened” her. No one was injured.
Police responded to the school about 8:15 a.m. to investigate. They did not find a gun or evidence of a physical threat.
The school was reopened about 9 a.m.
