Alexandria Police have released another piece of information in the mysterious disappearance of Lenwood “Lenny” Harris: Someone tried to use his credit card in Prince George’s County at midnight on Sept. 22, three hours after Harris was last seen.
Police on Thursday distributed several surveillance images of the White Dodge Caravan at a Capitol One Bank bank drive-thru, where someone attempted to use the card. The van had more than one person inside and did not have a front license plate, police said.

An hour later, a man tried to use his credit card to get money out of an ATM on King Street. They have released a photo of that man, who has a muscular build and tattoos on his right and left forearm. The tattoo on the inside of his forearm appears to have numbers with a word written below, according to police.
Investigators are asking anyone who recognizes the van or the tattooed man in the photo to contact Alexandria police at 703-746-4711 or 703-838-4444. Detectives also want to speak with anyone who may have spoken with Harris on Sept. 21.

A Lenny Harris reward fund has been set-up by friends and family at Virginia Commerce Bank. Anyone wishing to contribute can go to any bank branch and make a donation. St. Elmo’s Coffee Shop, 2300 Mount Vernon Avenue in Alexandria is also accepting donations for the fund, police said.
