Police say this man captured on surveillance cameras is suspected of trying to rob a Georgetown bank.

D.C. police are looking for help identifying the man they say tried to rob a Georgetown bank on Thursday morning.
The man entered the SunTrust Bank at 3440 Wisconsin Ave. NW about 10:35 a.m., police said, passing a teller a note demanding money. He left without getting any cash, police said.
Police described the suspect as a clean-shaven black male, 5 feet,. 7 inches tall with a mole or tattoo beneath his left eye. He was wearing a brown jacket and gray hat and was carrying a backpack, police said.

Police released surveillance photographs of the suspect on Friday.
