Police have released a sketch of the man suspected of leaving a series of threatening notes in Manassas.

Since December, residents in the Weems and Sumner Lake neighborhoods have found crudely written threats left at their front doors, police said.

At least one of the notes carried a death threat. Three of the notes were delivered last week, according to police. In at least one instance, a resident also found several of her clay lawn ornaments broken.

The suspect is described as a man with light brown to black hair, a light to medium complexion, medium build and average height.

Anyone with information can call police at 703-330-0330 or 703-257-8092.
