Police seek help identifying body found in Md. in 2011

TOWSON, Md. — Police in Baltimore County are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man found dead in the Black River in 2011.

Police say the man’s body was found Sept. 8 in the Black River under the Interstate 695 Bridge. There were no signs of foul play, and police say the body had been in the water for a significant amount of time.

Police say detectives have been unable to identify the victim through DNA or fingerprints. They say the victim is likely between the age of 40 and 60 and believed to be from the Dundalk area.

The cause of death is undetermined.
