Police seek two suspects in Northeast D.C. armed robbery

D.C. police are searching for two masked men they say robbed a Northeast Washington convenience store on Thursday, one holding what authorities called a TEC-9 style machine gun with an extended ammunition magazine.

The robbery occurred about 10:15 a.m. at Linda’s Market in the 1800 block of D St. NE. Surveillance video released by police shows the men walking into the store. One man goes to the side of the counter, while the other points the weapon at the clerk and takes money.

The man holding the gun is described as a black male standing 6 feet tall with a dark complexion. He was wearing a North Face jacket, dark ski pants, a baseball cap, a black ski mask and black North Face boots.

The other man is described as black, between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall, wearing a black ski mask, black jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and red underwear.

Police are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for anyone with information leading to arrests and convictions. The tip line can be reached at 202-727-9099, or text 50411.
